Ask Scripture

What do I do when I get tired?

Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come to me, all you that labour, and are burdened, and I will refresh you. 29 Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. 30 For my yoke is sweet and my burden light.

Isaiah 40:29-31

29 It is he that giveth strength to the weary, and increaseth force and might to them that are not. 30 Youths shall faint, and labour, and young men shall fall by infirmity. 31 But they that hope in the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall take wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 23:1-3

1 On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers. 3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?

Rest and recharge your body, mind, and soul by taking a break, practicing self-care, and seeking spiritual nourishment through prayer or meditation. Remember that physical rest is important for overall well-being, but also prioritize spiritual rest by connecting with God and finding peace in his presence. Trust in God's strength to renew your energy and guide you through moments of weariness.
